Our gluten free, vegan dry face mask powders are perfect for normal to sensitive skin. They are made with pure clay as the primary ingredient. We also use a blend of other exceptional clays and natural ingredients for their detoxification and replenishing properties. Here are some of the main ingredients:
Moroccan Red Clay contains silicon, magnesium, iron, sodium, potassium, lithium, and trace elements. It helps with dryness, enhances skin clarity and elasticity and removes surface oil that unblocks pores. Helps to smooth your skin
White Kaolin Clay contains high content of silica that helps in removing the dead skin and makes it to regenerate. It is a skin detoxifying and cleansing agent. It also purifies and detoxes the skin and makes it moist.
Bentonite Clay contains calcium, magnesium, silica, sodium, copper, iron and potassium. Bentonite clay helps to detox the skin. It slows down aging of the skin by removing age accelerating toxins. It also helps to get rid of skin spots, wrinkles, lines and even dull skin.
French Green Clay contains montmorillonite, magnesium, calcium, potassium, dolomite, silica, manganese, phosphorous, silicon, copper, and selenium. It helps heal and detox the skin.
Black Activated Charcoal is carbon processed producing low-volume pores that increase the surface area available for adsorption or chemical reactions. It helps draws bacteria, poisons, chemicals, dirt and other micro-particles to the surface of skin. It also helps to create a blemish free complexion while fighting fight acne.
We should also let you know that our masks do not have:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Phthalates
- Preservatives
- Fillers
When you purchase our clay you will receive a reusable and recyclable plastic jar of dry clay. This option is best if you like your mask to be a specific consistency. Dry face mask powder is an alternative to ready-made liquid face masks. Dry clay allows you to add your own liquid mixture in the desired amount perfect to suit your individual preference. We chose to produce dry masks because you get fresh ingredients with a longer shelf life. We noticed that once you add liquids to the mixture mold can grow undetected within a few weeks unless you have a strong preservative in place. Even with a preservative in place after opened mold can form if other elements are inadvertently introduced to the formula. We have eliminated the issue of mold growing in a premixed mixture by offering a dry mask. This lets you control how much and what to mix the clay with. Here are a few suggestions:
- - Water (distilled or regular tap)
- - Coconut Water
- - Aloe Vera Juice
- - Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
- - Witch Hazel
- - Floral water (Lavender, Rose, etc.)
We also know that not all skin is created equal which is why you can pick an enhancer to add in your mask to help with different skin types. We like the additives listed below:
Dry skin: use almond milk, olive oil, or vegan yogurt
Normal skin: use water or agave
Oily skin: use agave, diluted lemon or lime juice, or witch hazel
Go ahead and try one today. We know you are going to love them. If you have found the perfect recipe by using our dry mask we would love to hear from you. Share it with us on social media by tagging us in your post. We love fresh new ideas.
